Christian Family Park was incorporated as a non-profit 501 C3 in August of 1977. Our primary intent was to support area churches with a recreation area for common uses as the beautiful riverfront was the key to attracting many to come and enjoy this wonderful park.

There have been tent meetings, family reunions, Scout jamborees, summer fun camp for toddlers, and training schools for disadvataged youth. In 2002 we have had many local churches bring their entire congregation out for weekend camping get aways.
